2026-04-20 CEST Build Phase 12

Ship animation testing layer added to the website

Update: A new browser-based Ship Animation Testing section is now live on the website with a steerable Soulshugan prototype layer, white-dot starfield backdrop, keyboard firing, and thrust-driven booster intensity so the current idle and strafe animation tests can be reviewed in motion instead of only as sprite sheets and GIFs.

2026-04-15 CEST Build Phase 11

Project structure cleaned up and website/archive flow refined

Update: The project folder structure was reorganized into a cleaner split between game, project, website, and tools, the Godot project was smoke-tested and repaired after the move, the website navigation was tightened up, and the devlog now rotates older updates into a dedicated archive page instead of keeping the entire history on the front page.

2026-04-14 CEST Build Phase 10

Hero section rebuilt with new Reina Solari artwork and concept media

Update: The website intro has been restructured again, replacing the old hero text panel with a new Reina Solari image card, keeping the AI concept video as a decorative showcase element, and tightening the top-of-page presentation into a cleaner, more graphic-forward project landing section.

2026-04-14 CEST Build Phase 09

AI concept video added as the new hero visual

Update: The website hero section now uses a custom AI-made concept animation based on Soldier Gun cover artwork. It is clearly labeled as decorative promo material rather than gameplay footage, and the source clip has also been archived in the project artwork folders as concept video reference.

2026-04-14 CEST Build Phase 08

Soundtrack release expanded with a new full-length Track 3

Update: The website soundtrack section now includes OBARAIDO NIHONGO ULTRA REMIX as a new third full track, the playback area was updated to use the original release files directly, and the ZIP package now reflects the actual three-track soundtrack release without the earlier helper copies inside the release folder.

2026-04-13 CEST Build Phase 07

First official soundtrack release added to the website

Update: The website now includes the first official SOLDIER GUN soundtrack release, featuring Reina Solari: Hold The Line and the OBARAIDO NIHONGO REMIX as full-length on-page tracks, a ZIP download for the complete release, and a prominent cover-art showcase right beneath the introduction.

2026-04-13 CEST Build Phase 06

Story mode TV overlay reaches first complete presentation pass

Update: The first version of the story-mode TV screen is now locked into place with a dedicated monitor shell, calibrated text layer, fixed padding, and a stable fullscreen-safe alignment. This pass also included bug fixing for the title-button reveal timer, removal of the unused close button, and cleanup of the story presentation flow so the overlay now behaves like a proper in-universe transmission screen instead of a temporary debug panel.

2026-04-12 22:40 CEST Build Phase 05

Inferno Colossus promoted to the website hero frame

Update: The website top section has been rearranged so one of the strongest evil-route title artworks now anchors the landing view, giving the project page a more dramatic first impression and a clearer good-versus-evil visual contrast.

2026-04-12 22:25 CEST Build Phase 04

Title-art pools expanded and source sync pushed to GitHub

Update: New good-route and evil-route title artworks were sorted into the live rotation folders, the GitHub project files were synced without packaging a public build, and the website log now reflects the lighter source-update workflow for future progress drops.

2026-04-12 21:35 CEST Build Phase 03

Website rollout proposal goes live

Update: The first public-facing Soldier Gun website draft is now online with lore, creator context, artwork pools, soundtrack previews, and a first real devlog structure. This turns the repo from a file archive into an actual presentation space for the project.

2026-04-12 18:40 CEST Build Phase 02

Title shell reaches dual-atmosphere presentation

Update: Good and evil artwork pools are now linked to matching soundtrack moods, with title bar polish and route-sensitive presentation.

2026-04-12 15:10 CEST Build Phase 01

Universe canon and character forms locked in

Update: Names, route paths, and the transformation matrix are now stable enough to drive story copy, soundtrack naming, and gallery categories.
